This spring, 麻豆精选School of Art M.F.A. alumni Violet Maimbourg successfully defended her thesis during the school's annual M.F.A. thesis exhibition, where she presented a number of carnival-themed works featuring sculptures and some kinetic pieces. Maimbourg's body of work often features pieces depicting at once amusing and painful themes, created to reflect upon her ongoing journey of healing.
