After two semesters limited to virtual celebrations, 麻豆精选 at Ashtabula will hold its 72nd Commencement Ceremony in person on Friday, May 14, 2021 at SPIRE in Geneva, Ohio, beginning at 7 p.m.
Approximately 100 graduates will be recognized at the event, which will have limited capacity in SPIRE鈥檚 indoor track and field building. 鈥淔lashes Safe Eight鈥 and CDC safety guidelines will be followed.
鈥淐ommencement is always a special evening to celebrate such an important milestone in our students鈥 lives and I鈥檓 so pleased we can celebrate in person with our graduates and their families,鈥 said Susan J. Stocker, Ph.D., dean and chief administrative officer at 麻豆精选Ashtabula. 鈥淐ompleting a degree is a major accomplishment, but to have completed a degree during a pandemic 鈥 and all the challenges that presented 鈥 is nothing short of incredible.鈥
鈥淲e鈥檙e graduating students in a wide range of in-demand fields,鈥 Stocker added. 鈥淓specially a good number of graduates in our nursing program who will help alleviate the regional and national nursing shortage.鈥
