Furtado has served on numerous boards of trustees in Knoxville, Tennessee. Currently, she serves on the boards of the Cleveland International Film Festival and Hillel at 麻豆精选. Furtado is married to Kent State鈥檚 13th President, Todd Diacon, and the couple have a son.
