N. Scott Robinson, M.A. '02, Ph.D. '13, Parkville, MD, is a tenured professor of music and chair of the Department of Music at San Diego Mesa College, where he is also coordinator of applied music. He is orchestra manager and assistant principal percussionist with La Jolla Symphony & Chorus and principal percussionist with San Diego Recording Orchestra, timpanist and principal percussionist with New City Sinfonia, and percussionist and drummer with a number of other orchestras, wind ensembles, percussion ensembles and big bands in the San Diego area.
