Public Skating Rules
All patrons must wear skates while on the ice. Individuals without skates are not permitted on the ice surface.
Skaters must remain in motion and follow the designated skating direction at all times.
Rough play, excessive speed, racing, weaving through other skaters, and forming human chains are prohibited. Tag, games, and the use of sticks or pucks are not permitted during public skating sessions.
Intentional sliding, diving, kicking, or chipping of the ice is prohibited.
Throwing snow, ice, or any other objects is not allowed.
Skaters may not carry children while on the ice.
To ensure the safety of all participants, the use of cell phones, smart watches, and other electronic devices while skating should be kept to a minimum.
Figure skating maneuvers are permitted only in designated center-ice areas and at the discretion of Ice Arena staff.
Children ages 12 and under should be accompanied by an adult. The accompanying adult is not required to skate but must remain inside the facility.
Sitting on the boards is prohibited.
Headphones and earbuds are not permitted while on the ice.
Skates are not allowed on bleachers or any unprotected concrete surfaces within the facility.
Ice exit doors must remain clear and accessible at all times.
Eating, drinking, and chewing gum are prohibited on the ice.
The use of tobacco products, e-cigarettes, alcohol, or illegal substances is prohibited anywhere on Ice Arena property.
Ice Arena staff reserve the right to remove any individual from the ice or facility for rule violations. Serious or repeated infractions may result in suspension of facility privileges.
Additional Expectations
All patrons must follow posted signage and comply with instructions provided by Ice Arena staff. Individuals who fail to follow facility rules or engage in behavior that endangers themselves or others may be removed from the ice and/or facility without refund.
Public Skating Rule: Skate Helper Usage
To ensure a safe and enjoyable skating environment for all guests, the following rules apply to the use of Skate Helpers during public skating sessions:
Proper Use Only: Skate Helpers are intended to assist beginner skaters with balance and stability. They must be used only for this purpose.
Stacking Limit: Skate Helpers may not be stacked more than two (2) high at any time.
No Misuse or Horseplay: Skate Helpers must not be used as bumpers, for crashing into others, or for any type of ramming into other helpers or skaters.
Control at All Times: All Skate Helpers must remain under the user's control at all times. Reckless or uncontrolled movement is prohibited.
No Excessive Pushing: Skate Helpers may not be pushed excessively for speed or distance, nor used in a manner that shows a lack of control.
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in removal of the Skate Helper or dismissal from the skating session. Safety is our top priority—thank you for your cooperation!
