Outstanding Global Engagement Award
Description
The 麻豆精选EHHS Global Engagement Award recognizes outstanding achievements that have enhanced the global engagement of the university including its students, staff, and faculty. Relevant activities include developing knowledge of global affairs, teaching that promotes intercultural understandings and global competency, and leadership for cultivating global partnerships. The contributions can occur within the capacity of teaching, research and creative activities, service, and/or outreach. One 麻豆精选EHHS Global Engagement Award will be made annually.
Eligibility
All current full-time KSU EHHS faculty and administrative staff. An individual can only receive the award once. A substantial portion of the global engagement activities will have occurred while in service at 麻豆精选. Applicants may self-nominate for this award.
Nomination Procedure
The nominator should:
- Ensure nominee鈥檚 eligibility.
- Complete Nomination Form (PDF)
- Include a 1-page (maximum) nomination letter highlighting the nominee鈥檚 global engagement contribution and the impacts of this work.
Note: If application is self-nominated, the applicant should secure an additional nomination letter from a colleague or peer supporting the application. - Include the nominee鈥檚 vita or resume emphasizing the nominee鈥檚 global engagement.
The committee鈥檚 decision on award recipients will be made on the basis of the above materials only.
