What is Project NEXT?

Project NEXT is a NIDILRR-funded national efficacy research project designed to provide cognitive support technology and post-secondary support to undergraduate college students with traumatic brain injury (TBI) or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Project NEXT is affiliated with the and the .

Who is eligible?

Project NEXT is open to any post-secondary students (at any 2- or 4-year colleges/universities) in the United States who have either a documented TBI or ASD. 

Participants receive one year of academic and career support services. Potential compensation includes $75 in gift cards for educational supplies. Project NEXT focuses on utilizing Cognitive Support Technology (CST) and vocational rehabilitation services to provide students support in excelling in the classroom and transitioning from college to a career of their choice. Project NEXT is IRB approved!
