About our online programs

The Educational Technology master鈥檚 degree, undergraduate minor and certificate, and School Library Media K-12/M.Ed. ETEC programs are offered entirely online. The TLCS Ph.D. and Interprofessional Leadership Ed.D. are also fully online programs. This allows busy professionals to pursue a degree without leaving home or work.

Most of the online courses use course materials, assignments and asynchronous online discussions in Kent State's online course management system, Canvas. Some may also include synchronous experiences, wherein all students meet simultaneously for a class session with the instructor, each on his/her own computer, using various online technologies.

If you have questions about the delivery mode of any of these programs, please contact the Educational Technology program coordinator.
