The Â鶹¾«Ñ¡Sports Administration program is excited to host Â鶹¾«Ñ¡Day at Progressive Field Saturday, May 16, when the Cleveland Guardians will take on the Cincinnati Reds! This event includes unlimited ballpark fare including hotdogs, nachos and cheese, pretzel bites, popcorn, chips, cookies and Pepsi products from 5-8 p.m. in the Pennant District, and the first 1,000 Flashes will get a free Â鶹¾«Ñ¡branded Slider bobblehead. The first 15,000 fans will also receive a Rajai Davis 2016 Game 7 bobblehead! The game will begin at 7:10 p.m.
The exhibit examines the legacy of May 4, 1970, through the life and activism of Dean Kahler, one of nine students wounded during the Â鶹¾«Ñ¡shootings. Paralyzed by a bullet fired by the Ohio National Guard, Kahler transformed personal trauma into a lifelong commitment to disability rights, peace, public service, and democratic engagement.
Ohio State Representative Derrick Hall recently visited the Â鶹¾«Ñ¡ Airport, where he received an informational tour of the facilities hosted by College of Aeronautics and Engineering Dean Christina Bloebaum, Ph.D.Rep. Hall, representing House District 34 — which includes Hudson, Stow, Tallmadge, Silver Lake, Munroe Falls and portions of Akron — serves on the House Transportation Committee and the House Workforce and Higher Education Committee.
