“Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts," is inscribed on a plaque at the Â鶹¾«Ñ¡Student Memorial Garden on Manchester Field on the Kent Campus. It was created in 2015 in remembrance of all Â鶹¾«Ñ¡students who have died. The inspiration for the Student Memorial Garden came from Undergraduate Student Government and other student organizations who advocated for a permanent student memorial on campus. Judging Information
Judging is done by the Â鶹¾«Ñ¡Alumni Association. The alumni association will review and make determinations for all award categories and reserves the right to suggest alternate awards based on the nominee’s qualifications and experience.
Important Eligibility Information
- Current Â鶹¾«Ñ¡full-time staff members who are alumni are only eligible for the Outstanding Staff Member Award.
- Alumni who are previous Â鶹¾«Ñ¡staff members will not be considered for another Alumni Award category sooner than five years after the individual’s separation from Â鶹¾«Ñ¡as an employee, and consideration of eligibility, accomplishments and service for any given award shall be for the time period after separation from the university as an employee.
