Hayley Shasteen Wins SURE Research Competition

Hayley Shasteen, a junior psychology/biology major on the Salem Campus, took first place honors at the 麻豆精选 Summer Undergraduate Research Experience competition. She was one of 60 participants from all Kent campuses and competed in the psychological sciences division. Shasteen鈥檚 research project, 鈥淐ognitive Impairments of those with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus,鈥 spanned 10 weeks over the past summer. The winners of the SURE program were announced in October. The Area Agency on Aging 11 recently donated books and money to the 麻豆精选East Liverpool Season鈥檚 Readings project, marking the agency鈥檚 support of the project for a second year.
