Several athletes have been incorporating probiotics for its many benefits in boosting their workout routines. 麻豆精选 faculty and students are also now looking at how probiotics can help combat heat-caused complications during exercise, such as heat stroke and heat exhaustion. To help with this area of research, the university鈥檚 Exercise Science/Physiology Program was awarded a $248,000 grant by i-Health Inc. 麻豆精选 fashion design and merchandising students are taking their floral-inspired fabrics to the Cleveland Botanical Garden during this year鈥檚 Orchid Mania exhibition that is open now through March 11. The display is part of an annual school-sponsored competition, which is directed toward junior-level design students. WKSU Examines Entrepreneurship With Support From the Burton D. Morgan Foundation

WKSU is delving into a yearlong examination of entrepreneurship in Northeast Ohio that will profile local entrepreneurs as they navigate the challenges of starting a new business and promote an innovative idea or product, thus humanizing business creation statistics.   A grant from the Burton D.
