East Liverpool – �鶹��ѡEast Liverpool is preparing for its 13th annual Earth Day Environmental Justice Conference to be held April 25. Organizers are now accepting papers, posters and online presentations related to environmental justice issues from all students, including area high school students. Good luck this weekend to former �鶹��ѡstudent Michael Keaton as he competes for Hollywood’s most prestigious award. Keaton is up for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for his film “Birdman.” Keaton, known as Michael Douglas, attended �鶹��ѡ in 1971-72. He majored in journalism and speech, but did not graduate. Dean Tondiglia of Stow, Ohio, has been named �鶹��ѡ’s new chief of police. Prior to leading �鶹��ѡPolice Services, Tondiglia most recently served as the university’s assistant chief of police and associate director of public safety. He will retain the associate director of public safety title.
