Scholarships and other monetary support are available to help with costs when you join Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC). Focus on your education and graduate into a secure path as an Army Officer—and with less debt for the school years your scholarship covers. You’re eligible if you are a high school student enrolling in college, enrolled in college, or an active-duty enlisted Soldier.

Cadet Summer Training is the culmination of leadership and Solider skills you have developed over the course of three years in ROTC. During the Summer between your MS3 and MS4 years,  you are required to attend the Army ROTC Advanced Camp (aka Cadet Summer Training or "CST"). This challenging four-week training course is designed to evaluate all Army ROTC Cadets on their potential to become Commissioned Officers in the United States Army. This course is conducted at Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Each semester, there is a weekend field training exercise (FTX) in addition to required classes and lab. The Fall FTX runs from Friday afternoon through Sunday early afternoon. The Spring FTX runs from Friday through Sunday afternoon. Both training exercises occur at Camp James A. Garfield Joint Military Training Center (formerly the Ravenna Arsenal), and provide the student with a challenging weekend of Army tactical and field training. 

Military Science (MSCI) Classes classes are taught for each year Freshman through Senior (MS1 through MS4). There is a classroom Leadership Seminar with a separate Leadership Lab on Wednesdays each semester.

Nothing. All required textbooks and supplies are issued from the ROTC department. There are no additional fees to participate in the program. Uniforms are issued based on local policy and availability for underclassmen.

For non Army Scholarship students there is NO commitment for the first two years of ROTC.
