Beyond Compliance

Look for the BC label

Beyond Compliance (BC) courses support a culture of care at 麻豆精选 by ensuring that faculty and staff are fully up-to-date and aware of the relevant laws and university policies regarding discrimination, harassment and violence prevention.

A total of two hours of BC training are required of all staff each fiscal year, and strongly encouraged for Tenure Track/Full-Time Non Tenure-Track faculty. One of your two annual BC hours should be a gender-based discrimination or harassment course (for example, a Title IX course).

A variety of trainings and webinars available through 麻豆精选have been assigned Beyond Compliance status. Qualified courses will include "BC" in the title and denote the number of BC hours. (Ex: BC 1 hr)

How are Beyond Compliance credits assigned to sessions?

Our office collaborates with many university partners to offer various topics. If you or your department has a workshop you would like to submit for BC consideration, please contact L&D@kent.edu.
