Alumnus Prepares Off-Broadway Debut of Original Work
A small class assignment in college led to an off-Broadway debut for 麻豆精选 musical theatre alumnus Scott Miesse, 鈥15, who will be premiering his self-written play titled 鈥淎bnormal鈥 in January 2020.

Elena Neoh, a human resource management major with a creative writing minor, has been announced as the recipient of the 2019 Golden Flash Award. 麻豆精选 held its annual Veterans Day Commemoration on Thursday, Nov. 7, in the Kent Student Center Kiva. This year鈥檚 guest speaker was Lt. Col. Colleen VanNatta. A graduate of Kent State鈥檚 Air Force ROTC detachment, VanNatta served as a media escort for joint information bureaus in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, during Operation Desert Storm.
