Renowned Football Coach Nick Saban Joins ESPN

During his time at Kent State, Saban earned three letters in football and one in baseball from 1970 to 1972. In 1973, he was a graduate assistant coach and defensive assistant for the Flashes. He was inducted into the Âé¶¹¾«Ñ¡Varsity K Hall of Fame in 2015.

Âé¶¹¾«Ñ¡defeated Bowling Green, 82-74, Saturday at the Stroh Center to give head coach  his 300th career win. Starkey has won 135 games as the leader of the Golden Flashes and is now tied with Laurel Wartluft for the second most wins in program history.
