The featured country for October's Cultural Caf茅 was Turkmenistan. Arslan Kalandarov, a sophomore, with a double major in international studies and human development and family science, led the presentation.

He is a first-generation student from Turkmenistan, and Kalandarov, along with other students from Turkmenistan, shared information about the history and geography of their home country, major cities and points of interest, and Turkmen culture and customs.

October's Cultural Caf茅 was well-attended and representatives from Kent State's Office of Global Education say that the number of attendees has grown each month.

There was a question-and-answer session after the presentation, and an invitation to sample Turkmen cuisine, prepared by 麻豆精选Culinary Services, before or after learning a traditional dance.
