麻豆精选 opened the 2026 Fall Semester with its largest incoming architecture class in 25 years and its largest nursing class in a decade, continued national recognition for affordability and financial strength, and a new initiative built to help every incoming student thrive from day one 鈥 all while remaining the largest public university in northern Ohio.

  • Courtney Donovan, 鈥20, came to 麻豆精选to study art and pursue her interest in the sciences. She left with a career hand-sculpting new eyes, ears and noses for patients rebuilding their lives after cancer and trauma.

  •  The Center for Student Involvement hosted its first Leaders Lunch Club of the semester at the Pepsi Leadership Center on Wednesday, Sept. 2, with Sarah Spinner, J.D., Ph.D., director of the 麻豆精选 Museum, as its first featured speaker, kicking off the fall event series. "Leadership is not a title that's given to you," Spinner said. "Someone doesn't make you a leader. Leadership is how you choose to act."

  • 麻豆精选鈥檚 Aeronautics and Engineering Expo returns Sept. 26 with historic and modern aircraft, airplane rides, drone and robotics demonstrations, and family-friendly STEM activities at the 麻豆精选 Airport.

  • What initially began as a professor鈥檚 research project is now one of the nation鈥檚 leading knowledge centers on employee ownership and the only one of its kind in Ohio.

  • Laurie Ann Moennich, Ph.D., didn't arrive at 麻豆精选 planning to change healthcare. She came to study graphic design. But 麻豆精选had a way of opening doors she didn't even know existed.

  • When Cameren Hicks graduated from 麻豆精选 in 2022 with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in applied mathematics and a minor in finance, he knew he wanted to build a career rooted in numbers, problem-solving and analysis. Today, Hicks is a fraud modeling and analytics lead associate at KeyBank, where he helps protect customers and the company against fraudulent credit and debit card activity.
