Three professors are developing a solution to this issue through the use of extended reality (XR) technology and 360 video.
As part of the College of Architecture and Environmental Design鈥檚 senior-year curriculum, interior design faculty require their students to design a community-based project, teaching them how to become design advocates for diverse populations that usually differ from themselves.
"When I was younger, I always dreamed of competing at the highest level," Taylor Monturo says. "Honestly, I did not care what sport or in what fashion, but I was bound and determined to work as hard as I possibly could to put myself in a position to be a Division I student-athlete."
